The Be Reet Radio Show 30th September 2013

Some reet daft ravelling from Tony Thornborough and Steve Nicholson on this show, which is very entertaining before you even get to the music. Talk of vajazzles was quickly diverted by a nifty segway into out track 'Prostitute's Handbag' which is surely a case of out of the frying pan and into another frying pan...

Listen out too for our pal Ste McCabe who does withering scouse sarcasm like no other, especially on the track played on this show. Aside from that there's some old classics, new demos and even a spot of star gazing with the horoscopes section... Aside from that, it's all good, apart from the track 'Chunder In The Old Pacific' by Barry Croker and Pete Best which is fucking terrible.

But don't let that put you off - it's a very entertaining show which includes some of the best local music from, Manchester, Salford and surrounding environs, so can't be bad. Thanks Tony and Steve!

  1. "Chunder in the Old Pacific" was written by Barry Humphries aka Dame Edna. Still doesn't make it good, mind you. Jx

  2. Barry Crocker's the singer but you're right - Barry Humphries deserves his portion of the blame. Crocker also sang the theme to Neighbours apparently - so has obviously had an auspicious career. :/
