This show is full of some good solid indie from local bands and a few from further afield, as well as including our wonky sound, so arguably, maybe not for any die hard synth purists who don't like guitars...but you can decide for yourselves.
A stand out track for me was Machete by Purge. Their video is quite funny too and reminiscent of a favourite episode of 'Father Ted' - we'll have to borrow that milk float and make a vid of our own for 'The Housewife's Lament'...but I digress...
Other tracks that I rather enjoyed were 'Forgetting Your Name' by ShadowFactories and Bottle of Wine by The Beats and Cheats. As I've mentioned before, I'm a bit of an old indie fan so these tracks are right up my street. I also liked 'Everything' by The Unassisted, a band that we follow on twitter, but haven't really listened to properly - something that I should remedy. So much music; so little time. Make sure you stay tuned to the end of the show for a 6minutes-and-counting track: Beams of Light by Black Tooth. who seem like very good people who said hello on twitter which is always nice.
Anyone reading this who has already listened to the show and doesn't own the track that Daz played, you can get it for free from our Bandcamp page.
There's loads of new music here so have a listen and judge for yourself via the 'Listen Again' page. Also, if you're in the Manchester area, there's plenty of info. on local gigs. So, off you pop and support the artists! That is all.
