Nowt on but repeats...

Because Sherry of Sherry and Barb fame is off on holiday Fallen Rock Zone have filled this week's void with a repeat of the show featuring Tingle In The Netherlands (that'll be us). This was first broadcast to the end of 2012 and was our first ever radio interview. We manage to consume much of the first hour; but do stay tuned as there's lots of other good stuff to listen to once we've hung up and gone away to exhale...

Bob O's Aural Delights: Aural Delights Podcast 24

HT: We're all over mixcloud like ants on a sugar lump at the moment thanks to lovely people like Bob Osborne.
The opening track on this immediately took me back twenty odd years, like an evocative smell, to my student days and the Inspiral Carpets version....but we're not here for reminiscence therapy. Here's the widget...

Ear Spook Radio #38

More airplay for us from the Earspook lads. We were quite amused that on the Electronica mix on our previous blog post there was an electro cover version of a Smiths song, and on this one there's a reggae remix which features Morrisey's warblings. It's on immediately after our track. We do always find ourselves in the most curious musical company as we've said before, and that's how we like it. Listen away...

The April 13th Saturday Breakfast show on Phoenix 98 FM (Edited)

Much thanks again goes to Rob Harvey of Phoenix FM in Essex for playing our music. 'She's No Lady' had another outing on Rob's show last Saturday. As you can see from the playlist below, we were played alongside some great artists including many of our own favourites and influences. It's always extra nice when that happens. Thanks Rob! You can listen to the show via the mixcloud widget below.

We're very interesting people you know.

Obviously our fans will have an insatiable appetite for the minutiae of our daily lives. Here are a few links to interviews we've done thus far which might be of interest to any stalker fans / unauthorised biographers.

(Picture of HT breaking into Owen's flat after stalking him online for 3 months)

First up, it's the very stylish magazine 'Bedsheets' from Bangkok which interviewed us about 100 years ago. There's a lovely picture of Boy George on the front too. Click through to page 35.

More recently we were interviewed by our lovely peachy and zesty pals at Fallen Rock Zone. This involved us phoning into their show and speaking across the Atlantic. Not surprisingly, this was a very exciting and new experience for us especially seeing as Nerve Echo record label refuse to send us on a media training course. You can listen again via the wonderful widget.

Once you've listened to that (because there will be a test) you can read up some more at Goth Page where you will find a Q & A about all things Tingle if you scroll down a bit.
In a similar vein is our recent interview on the Anthology Music Blog

However, if reading isn't your thing, you can listen again to our appearance on ALL FM's Anything Goes Breakfast show with Fiona Ledgard.

Owen's mix for The Garden of Earthly Delights

If you missed the The Garden of Earthly Delights on 29th March you won't have heard the Tingle In The Netherlands mix created by Owen. Never fear! Owen has set up a mixcloud especially and uploaded it for your listening delight. It features a number of musical influences and favourites including a few TITN tracks. Listen out for our label mates: visionary and healer Putressence as well as everyone's favourite pie manufacturer Pusbunny. See widget for details.

The Best of 2013 so far eh?

A couple of DJs that we know have been taking stock of the musical year so far and have come up with their 'best of' lists, and we're on them (the lists not the DJs.)

DJ Mikey of Strangeways Radio will be playing some of his favourites from the first quarter of 2013 on his Halcyon Waves Show tonight, and as you can see from the flyer below we are in EXCELLENT company.   Thanks DJ Mikey!

For UK listeners this is one for the insomniacs and night owls as (we think) 10pm EST translates as 3am British Summer Time. (Using EST now website). We hope that readers from across the pond will be able to tune in though. However, you can catch the show again on Thursday (10am UK) so check the schedule. http://www.strangewaysradio.com/

Another DJ who's been reviewing the past three months of music is Dandelion Radio DJ Mark Whitby who has blogged his Top Ten albums of 2013 so far on his Unwashed Territories blog. Given how much music that Mark must listen to for his own enjoyment, and in his role as a DJ, we were very flattered to make number 7 in his chart. Mark has already given us a great review of our album and played us throughout March on his Dandelion Radio show, which you can listen to again on the mixcloud widget below. Thanks Mark!
