A Blog by a Dog Re-blogged! Thanks Ralph!

It's not often that a band gets reviewed by a music loving Jack Russell terrier called Ralph, but there's a first time for everything...

Today we were lucky enough to be featured in the Ralph's Life music blog. Regular readers of this blog, who are familiar with the minutiae of all things Tingle, might not learn anything new about us, but you can listen to 'Girlie Disco One' whilst watching Tingle In The Netherlands dancing in a fabulously gothic yet slightly disco fashion courtesy of an animated gif. We really should do more of that sort of thing. Also dear fans, please note that if the blog gets enough hits it will get into Ralph's top ten blogged band chart which could then lead to some more airplay for us on Ralph's Indie show on RKC Radio. So, if you would be so kind as to hot foot it over there and have a read we'd be very grateful. And tell your friends! Woof!

Leg warmers at the ready...

It was as if they were channelling 'The Kids From Fame' as they gave their first airing to another one of our album tracks. Fallen Rock Zone's Sherry and Barb were certainly in the zone last Thursday, so as usual, it's a big thank you from us for playing our songs.

You can listen again to the show via the widget below. Aside from TITN having a lovely ego boost, there's lots of great music on there that we've enjoyed listening to, so why not give it a whirl? The banter between Sherry and Barb is also well worth a listen...(tee hee)...

TITN at ALL FM

As well as being album launch day, 14th February was also the day that we were invited to appear on Fiona Ledgard's Anything Goes breakfast show on Manchester's ALL FM radio. The show airs every Thursday from 9am - 10.30am. We were lucky enough to participate in the whole shebang as Fiona had asked us to bring some of our favourite tracks, by various artists, to play along with tracks from our new album.

                                                                       It was early...

The world according to TITN...

You can listen to the show in full via the mixcloud widget below.

We had such a great time we didn't want to leave and very nearly staged a sit in, but Fiona managed to boot us out eventually...

Catch us if you can...

News of some Trans-Atlantic airplay that we'll be getting over the next couple of days...

Our music will be played by Argentina's Dr. Disco on the SYNTHFACTORY program, tonight (Sunday)
7pm (Argentina) GMT -3 by Electrobit Radio That's 10pm UK time.

Alan Wilder (Depeche Mode/Recoil) chose this show recently to perform a special live Recoil set, so we're in very good company! Here's the link: http://electrobit.listen2myradio.com/

On Monday at 10pm EST (3.00am Tuesday UK time) you can hear one of our album tracks on Strangeways Radio along with new tracks by Suede, Teeel, Kisses, Jode, Anne, The Courteneers and French Films, as well as classic tracks by Blur, Rialto, The Smiths and Catherine Wheel, so again, it looks like we're in excellent company.

If you're in the UK and have a job or are not an insomniac, the show will be repeated twice on Thursday at 10.00am and 8.00pm. Check out the facebook page for DJ Mikey  too.

Got my gun and my diaper on speeding to a new destination...

Our track 'Astronaut Love Triangle' had its first ever radio play yesterday courtesy of those lovely online space cadets at Fallen Rock Zone. You can listen to the show via the widget below as usual. Thanks as ever to the ladies for pimping us up, busting us out and playing our tunes. We also thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the show. Go and check it out dear reader, it's a gem. xx

Cynical? Do they mean us?

We're very excited here at Tingle Towers as we are gearing up for the official launch date of our new album, 'Why Can't You Write Something Nice For A Change?' (14th February 2013)

We'll be starting the day with an appearance on ALL FM. How exciting! Yes, we've been asked along for a chat with Fiona Ledgard on her Anything Goes Breakfast Show.
We'll also be bringing along some tunes that we like and sharing some tracks from the album.

But that's all happening NEXT week. Fiona has already started championing our debut release and gave us a massive 'big-up' in today's show. Not only were we described as 'satirical sweethearts', 'intelligent' and 'cynical' to boot but Fiona takes the prize for the very first ever radio play of the title track from the album. YAY! Thanks Fiona. xx

You can listen again to the show via the widget below. There's a great interview with musical cabaret duo Bourgeois and Maurice  who we've seen previously at Manchester's Contact Theatre and we would certainly recommend them.

Tingle In The Netherlands debut album release...

14th February 2013: sex workers; randy dairy operatives; love triangles; ambiguous prick teasers; mammalian mores and much much more! No love songs. Why can't you write something nice for a change?

CDs and downloads will be available from www.nerveecho.com on 14th February 2013. Downloads will also be available and i-Tunes shortly after. Anyone wishing to receive review copies please get in touch via Nerve Echo
